Cat

Catriona McCabe, 28, only ever known as Cat, is trying to improve her career as a sports journalist and move on from a failed relationship. What better way to do both than follow the Tour de France one Summer?
From Provence to Paris, up the Pyrenees and over the Alps, Cat and an entourage of podium girls, anxious wives, autocratic team directors and seasoned hacks pursue the ruthless riders. With sex, drugs, lashings of lycra, glistening thighs, large bulges and larger egos, the soap opera that is the Tour de France unfolds with Cat’s life frequently mirroring the peaks, perils and pace of the race.

Loved Cat as it combines my two favourite things!! A great girly book and cycling. Especially Tour De France!!What a great combination!!! Read Secrets and loved that too and just in the middle of Home Truths and loving it and finding it so hard to read at the same time!

This was my first ever Freya North book I ever read. I LOVED it and every time a new book comes out it’s a must read. I have read Cat at least 5 times now. It’s this book that got me interested in the Tour. I now watch it every year. Thanks for a great read !!

hello there,
i’m from belgium.
and when I was about 15 years young , I first started reading Freya north’s book, named Polly , soon i was clusterd on the type off writing. Now i’m 20 and I still love reading these books. When I go to My library , the first thing I do is go and look iff I can find a new book. Butt since belgium is so far away it always takes a long time before a new book comes out here.
Cat was one off the books I kept aside , I don’t know why but I thing the cover wasen’t quite as apealing as the books that i’ve read before that.
But once I started reading the book during my breaks for my exams. I Couldn’t put the book away. When I finished reading the book I was amazed. It really got me interested in The Tour De France. It was the end of scool and then it was time for La Tour de Françe. I enjoyed listening every minute on the radio.
thanks for giving me a passion for reading.
I really hope that soon i’ll find a new book in my library;)

Hi
Just wanted to say I love all the books about the McCabe family - can’t get enough of them!
Thank’s to Cat, I am now an avid supporter of the Tour de France, and I re-read cat every year when the tour is on as I only get to watch the highlights because of work, so Cat keeps me nourished with all things tour in between!
(Perhaps you could get the girls to visit the North East - a hen party if Fen & Matt decide to tie the knot!)

I really enjoyed Cat - to the point where I am excited to watch the Tour de France next year!

hi there,
I love all of the books about the McCabe sisters. The first I read was Pip, then Fen then last, but by no means least, Cat. All of them had me wanting to read on. The characters, especially Django, were delightful. It would be brilliant if there were more books following them through the ups and downs that the future holds for them. I also think that it would be interesting to see these books put into film!
